Lydia Williams took her usual spot between the posts and focused like she always does before just before a game.
If it was not already clear that something was different before the opening whistle, it was obvious 55 seconds into the match. Dash forward Sarah Hagen was running at her to steal the ball from her, not 70 yards attacking the opposite goal.
Williams passed safely to a teammate and eventually settled into her first game as a member of Seattle Reign FC.
The Australian goalkeeper appeared in 23 games for the Dash in 2016 and 2017 before being traded to Seattle on Thursday.
