On Saturday night, the RGV FC Toros snapped a three game slide when they defeated Sacramento Republic FC 2-1. It was a victory that saw a three-game slide end and keep up with playoff pack. Additionally, defender Kyle Adams scored his professional game winner as his goal in the 90th minutes proved to be the difference maker.
Good Bye Andy!
The game versus Sacramento was the last game for RGV FC Toros midfielder Andy Cabrera (son of Houston Dynamo coach Wilmer Cabrera). Cabrera scored the opening goal of the game on Saturday night. He departs to Butler University to play soccer with the Men’s team in the fall.
