In their final match of the season at H-E-B Park, RGVFC gave the fans something to cheer about with a 2-1 win over Fresno FC.
Before the clock struck 10 minutes, Jesus “Chuy” Enriquez opened the scoring. After he dribbled his way to the end line and saw his shot blocked, Enriquez headed home a poor clearance by a Fresno defender in front of goal. But, as they have on countless occasions, the Toros quickly conceded after taking the lead. In the 14th minute, Agustin Cazarez blasted home a header past Tyler Deric.
Instead of settling for another disappointing draw, RGVFC battled for all three points.
