Hopeful draft registrants, team staffs and fans gathered at the United Soccer Coaches Convention at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois for the 2019 NWSL College Draft ahead of the league's seventh season. In total, 36 new faces would be picked by the NWSL's nine teams. The Dash held the 12th, 13th, 16th, 18th, 21st and 22nd overall picks.
New Dash Head Coach James Clarkson eagerly looked forward to his first NWSL Draft experience with his technical staff, which includes returning assistant coach Eddie Robinson and Mexican Women's National Team founding member Monica Gonzalez.
