Sarah Hagen picked a great time for her best performance of the season.
With the Dash nicked up Wednesday night after dropping two in a row, Hagen scored two goals to lead a 3-1 victory over the Boston Breakers at Harvard's Jordan Field.
The victory gives the Dash (7-9-2) a seventh win for the first time in the club's four-year history. It also keeps alive their feint hopes of qualifying for the playoffs.
Hagen's second goal came in the 79th minute when she cleaned up a pinging ball in the penalty area. It gave the Dash a two-goal lead they had little trouble seeing out.
