Twitter was abuzz Friday morning with rumors that a deal was in place for Carli Lloyd to leave the Houston Dash to join Manchester City Women. Henry Winter tweeted out that there is a “strong possibility” that Lloyd will be joining the English team.

Later in the day, the Manchester Evening News reported that a club spokesman said it is just “speculation” that they have a deal in place for Lloyd.
