The Houston Dynamo finished their group stage participation in the Desert Diamond Cup with a draw against New York Red Bulls, 2-2.
The Dynamo finished group play with a 2-0-1 mark in the tournament and will face the Colorado Rapids on Saturday at 7 p.m. CT. That match will be streamed live at HoustonDynamo.com/live.
The Orange opened the scoring in the 35th minute, when midfielder Boniek García played a first touch ball to forward Andrew Wenger who dribbled inside the box. Wenger found forward Mauro Manotas by himself inside the six-yard box and the Colombian placed the ball in the back of the net.
