THE RESULT:
- Improved the Dynamo’s record to 10-8-8 on the season.
- Kept the 2017 Texas Derby level with three draws in three outings.
- Kept El Capitán in Houston, since the cannon goes to the winner of the annual series or stays with the current holder if the season series ends in a tie (provided the teams do not meet in the 2017 MLS Cup Playoffs).
- Improved head coach Wilmer Cabrera’s record with the Dynamo to 10-8-8.
- Improved the Dynamo’s all-time record against FC Dallas to 10-9-11 overall and 2-5-7 in Frisco.
