Houston rap legend Paul Wall will perform at the Houston Dynamo home match vs. New York City FC, presented by Halliburton Charitable Foundation on Friday, Sept. 30 at BBVA Compass Stadium, the team announced today.
New York City FC makes its first appearance at BBVA Compass Stadium and is led by a pair of international superstars. Midfielder Andrea Pirlo and forward David Villa have each won the FIFA World Cup, doing so for Italy and Spain, respectively; and each has won the UEFA Champions League, with AC Milan and Barcelona, respectively.
Paul Wall will perform several of his biggest hits on stage in the Bud Light Beer Garden before the match, and will do a shortened mashup of his hits at halftime.
