Houston earned third draw in three MLS matches under Barrett

Houston Dynamo interim head coach Wade Barrett’s side remained unbeaten under his leadership earning their third draw in four games against all competitions with a 0-0 match against DC United (DCU) at BBVA on Saturday night. Houston (3-7-5) deserved a better fate as they dominated play from the opening whistle delayed by severe weather for 36 minutes to the final tweet.

Early on, DC United tried to get physical with the men in orange drawing two yellow cards in the first 20 minutes of play including one on former Dynamo defender Bobby Boswell. The chippiness failed to deter the Dynamo who remained focus, maintained form and gained more and more confidence as the game wore on.
