The Houston Dynamo announced that goalkeeper Chris Seitz has been traded to D.C. United, finalizing a trade that was announced earlier today in which the Dynamo acquired the 33rd overall pick in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft presented by adidas.
Seitz started in nine games for the Dynamo across all competitions in 2018. The goalkeeper finished with three clean sheets and helped the team claim the 2018 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on Sept. 26 at BBVA Compass Stadium.
“Chris is a top professional on-and-off the field and we appreciate everything he has done for the club since joining us,” said Dynamo Senior Vice President and General Manager Matt Jordan.
