HOUSTON – Earlier this morning, Major League Soccer announced that the 2020 season has been suspended for 30 days, effective immediately, as the league continues to assess the impact of COVID-19 with its medical task force and public health officials.
As the developments surrounding COVID-19 in our region evolve, the Houston Dynamo remained in daily communication with the League as well as with local and regional health authorities and government officials.
Throughout this process, our Club’s primary focus has been on the health and wellbeing of our fans, players, staff and community. With that in mind, we support the League’s decision, and our Club will continue to work with the League and with City and County officials regarding next steps.
