Jalil Anibaba, who was released by Sporting Kansas City at the end of last season, is an MLS veteran who also played for the Seattle Sounders and Chicago Fire.
Anibaba made his debut in Major League Soccer in 2011 for the Chicago Fire, where he stayed until 2013. In 2014, he played in 16 games for the Seattle Sounders, and played in 16 more for Sporting Kansas City last year. In his MLS career, he’s tallied up 5 goals and 10 assists, not too bad for a defender.
Houston Dynamo general manager Matt Jordan indicated in his statement to the media that he believes Anibaba will be a great addition to the defense of the Dynamo;
“We’re very pleased to announce the addition of Jalil to our roster.
