The Houston Dynamo announced today that they have re-signed defender A. J. DeLaGarza which should help them through the latter part of the season. DeLaGarza tore his ACL in the final game of the regular season in the Dynamo’s 3-0 win over the Chicago Fire in a game in which he was wearing the Captain’s armband for the first time in Orange. The injury should keep DeLaGarza sidelined for a large portion of the season, but his experience, leadership, and skills will be a big help for the Dynamo for the last part of the year.
