Houston Dynamo forward Giles Barnes was named to Jamaica's 40-player provisional roster for the Copa America Centenario, it was announced Wednesday.
Barnes, born in London, England, but of Jamaican descent, has 14 caps and three goals for the Reggae Boyz. He made his senior international debut in May 2015, scoring against Venezuela. The Dynamo captain scored two goals in Jamaica's run to the 2015 Gold Cup final.
In line with the Tournament Regulations, these rosters are binding and will serve as the basis for teams to select their final 23-player squads that will take part in this summer's Copa America Centenario from June 3-26.
