The Houston Dynamo hosted FC Dallas on Saturday in the first of three games between the two teams this season. The Texas Derby got off to a hot start as the two traded goals but things cooled off as the night went on.
It was the visiting team that drew first blood seconds after the start of the game. Matt Hedges headed in a cross from five yards out to put Dallas up 1-0 in the first minute of the game. However, Dallas didn’t hold the Dynamo goal less for long. Romell Quioto crossed the ball into the box to a rushing Mauro Manotas who headed the ball into goal.
