Wade Barrett won’t be offered the full time head coaching role for the Houston Dynamo. Barrett was made the interim head coach after Owen Coyle left the team 20 games into the 2016 season. The Dynamo went 4-7-11 after Barrett took over. While the team improved over all under Barrett the team still finished last in the Western Conference this season.

Barrett has been with the club since they moved from San Jose in 2006.
