The Houston Dynamo completed a full transfer of Alberth Elis from C.F. Monterrey the club announced on Wednesday. He joined the club as a Designated Player.
The forward spent the 2017 season in orange scoring ten goals and four assists for the club. Elis was critical in Houston’s turnaround from last season which saw them go from finishing 2016 at the bottom of the Western Conference to making it all the way to the Western Conference Finals in 2017. He scored the game winning goal in Houston’s playoff win against Sporting Kansas City in the Knockout Round of the MLS Playoffs.
