The Houston Dynamo have acquired midfielder Luis Gil on loan from Querétaro FC pending receipt of his International Transfer Certificate, the club announced today.
Houston acquired Gil’s rights within Major League Soccer for the remainder of the 2018 season in a trade with Real Salt Lake in exchange for a natural fourth-round pick in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft, with future additional considerations.
In his seven-year MLS career, Gil has played in 155 games with Real Salt Lake, Orlando City SC and Colorado Rapids, starting 98 of those, and has scored 11 career goals with nine assists.
