The Houston Dash have parted ways with goalkeeper coach Matt Lampson "following an investigation into allegations of NWSL policy violations," the National Women's Soccer League confirmed in a statement Thursday.
In an NWSL statement to The Equalizer, which reported earlier this week that Lampson had been "removed from his duties due to an alleged relationship with a player at the club," the league revealed its investigation found that the former MLS goalkeeper had violated the NWSL Anti-Fraternization Policy and NWSL Coach Code of Conduct. Per the statement, no violations of the NWSL Anti-Harassment Policy—which deals with abusive, discriminatory or harassing behavior—were discovered.
