The Dash scored a major victory Sunday night with a 2-1 triumph over FC Kansas City on the road.
It is their first come-from-behind win away from home since 2014. Rachel Daly and Nichelle Prince scored second-half goals to lead the comeback.
The win vaulted the Dash from last place to a seventh-place tie in the 10-team league.
Here are some thoughts:
1 – The Dash are taking this N.D.C.Q acronym to heart and proving it with their performances. A team that was feeling sorry for itself would have gone through the motions in the second half after conceding the first goal the way the Dash did late in the first half.
