New coach, same as the old coach.
The Dash dropped their fifth game in a row Saturday night when they fell, 2-0, to the Washington Spirit on the road.
The loss came five days after coach Randy Waldrum was fired. Assistant coach Omar Morales managed the team last week and in Saturday's game.
Houston (2-6) now sits in last place through eight games.
Here are some thoughts:
- There was positive response to Omar Morales after he took over on Tuesday, but his chances to remain as coach took a hit on Saturday.
