Colin Clark, who played for the Houston Dynamo from 2010 to 2012, died of an apparent heart attack Monday night at the age of 35.
The left-footed midfielder played eight seasons in the MLS and played for the United States national team in the 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
On Tuesday, the Dynamo tweeted out a message about Clark: "Our entire club is saddened by the tragic news of the loss of Colin Clark. He was a huge part of our club from 2010 to 2012, and an even better person off the pitch. We'll miss you, Colin.
