Former Houston Dynamo midfielder Adam Moffat announced his retirement from professional soccer today, ending a 15-year career across MLS, USL and NASL. The 32-year-old had spent the past two seasons with Sacramento Republic FC of the USL.
“Truly blessed,” said Moffat. “Fifteen years is a long time doing what you love and I know full well that not many people get the opportunities I’ve been afforded. I feel that I accomplished everything I wanted and more, so I’m truly grateful for the love, support and encouragement I have received from my wife, parents and so many others throughout my career.
