The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) announced today that five Houston Dash players have been classified as allocated players by the U.S Soccer Federation and Canada Soccer.
Canada Soccer has allocated defender Allysha Chapman, forward Nichelle Prince and midfielder Sophie Schmidt, while U.S. Soccer allocated goalkeeper Jane Campbell and midfielder Kristie Mewis.
Allocated players are players who will have their salaries paid by U.S. Soccer or Canada Soccer, respectively. Campbell and Mewis are the first American players allocated to the Dash since Carli Lloyd and Morgan Gautrat (Brian) in 2017.
