The Houston Dynamo have set an MLS record with 11 goals through three games this season. The previous record was set by the 1999 Chicago Fire with 10 goals through three games (including Ante Razov scoring two goals in each of the three games). Here are a few notes on the Dynamo’s historic offense through three games and other notable offensive spells in Dynamo history.
- The only previous time the Dynamo have scored three or more goals in three consecutive games was September 2007, when Houston beat Real Salt Lake 4-3 (9/8/07) and then posted road wins of 3-1 at the LA Galaxy (9/16/07) and 3-0 at FC Dallas (9/30/07).
