Mexico national team coach Juan Carlos Osorio was not on the sidelines, the result of serving the third of a FIFA-imposed six-match suspension for his behavior earlier this month during the third-place match at the Confederations Cup in Russia.
On the eve of his squad’s CONCACAF Gold Cup group match against Curacao, Osorio made it clear that while he would have loved to been coaching, his absence did not much matter.
