At full speed Rob Lovejoy raced past an opposing defender near midfield and chested down a goal kick.
The Dynamo rookie midfielder increased his pace for five more touches before hitting a brilliant shot from 25 yards that beat the goalkeeper to the far post.
Everything went better than expected for Lovejoy in that moment, late in an April 2015 home game against the Montreal Impact. Most notably, he had scored his first professional goal in his fourth professional game.
This week, Lovejoy said it was the best night of his career.
"It felt like everything I had done leading up to that game was meant for that moment," Lovejoy said.
