Erick Torres has dazzled MLS with his stunning resurgence. He was flying high with a league-leading six goals heading into last weekend's game at New England.
On Saturday, he finally found out how the other half lives, putting in an ineffective performance in the 2-0 loss.
"I'm sad, because of the result," Torres said through a translator. "We wanted to get three points on an away game and we couldn't accomplish the objective. However, we need to move forward and get ready for next weekend."
Torres had scored in all four previous games, a club-record streak.
