With precaution and foresight in mind, Dynamo defender DaMarcus Beasley will have a minor procedure done this week to clean up debris floating in his left knee.
Dynamo vice president and general manager Matt Jordan said the four-time World Cup veteran is expected to miss 2-4 weeks.
"(Beasley) feels it is best to get it done now to alleviate some of the symptoms so he can be ready to go for the team down the stretch," Jordan said. "He is a consummate professional. He'll be ready for us. We expect him to be back in a timely manner.
