Dynamo forward Alberth Elis has picked up steam over the last month. That form helped him pick up a league award on Thursday.
Elis' goal last weekend against Orlando City SC earned MLS Goal of the Week honors. It was his third goal in four games. He now has four this season, which is tied for second on the team with Romell Quioto.
As can be expected with any goal of the week, Elis' strike was stunning.
Elis gained possession on the right side and dribbled at Orlando City defender Donny Toia. Elis stepped over the ball twice and then touched it into the right side of the penalty area.
