Dynamo and Panama national team defender Adolfo Machado set himself up to be a goat or a hero Friday night. There seemingly is no in between.
Speaking to reporters on Thursday ahead of Friday's World Cup Qualifier between Panama and Mexico in Mexico City, Machado did not hold back when discussing his opinion of El Tri.
"What happens is that Mexico lives on their history," Machado said through a translator. "They think they are the last Coke in the desert. They've got to understand that everything has changed now. Panama has evolved a lot. It is good that they don't think highly of Panama because there is a God and hopefully on Wednesday we will get a good result.
