The Dynamo avoided the pressure that often comes with the regular season finale by clinching a playoff berth last week.
Their work, however, is not over.
The Dynamo could move up from the No. 5 seed to the Nos. 3 or 4 seeds if they beat the Chicago Fire this afternoon at BBVA Compass Stadium and get favorable results in one of two other games.
If they move up, they would play their knockout game at home instead of on the road.
