The Houston Dynamo acquired midfielder Marlon Hairston in a trade with the Colorado Rapids on Friday.
Houston sent $175,000 in total General Allocation Money ($125,00 in 2019 and $50,000 for the 2020 season) to Colorado to acquire the former 12th overall pick in the 2014 MLS SuperDraft.
Hairston, 24, has played in 95 matches for the Rapids, recording two assists in 13 starts last season. He also played in both of the Rapids' CONCACAF Champions League matches against Toronto FC.
