The Houston Dynamo will play Guatemalan club CD Guastatoya in the opening round of the CONCACAF Champions League.
CONCACAF Champions League features top clubs from across North and Central America. The Dynamo qualified for one of the 16 available spots by defeating the Philadelphia Union in September’s U.S. Open Cup. They join Atlanta United, Toronto FC, Sporting Kansas City, and the Portland Timbers (or the New York Red Bulls) as the only MLS teams in the competition.
The Dynamo will play their first leg (Feb. 19-21) away before hosting CD Guastatoya at BBVA Compass Stadium in the second leg (Feb.
