The last-place Dynamo (4-9-7) have not scored in four consecutive games and have scored only once in their last five. They conclude the season series against Vancouver (8-8-6) at 0-1-2.
Houston got as close to scoring without actually doing it on a shot by Boniek Garcia in the 72nd minute.
