The Dynamo broke a team record on Sunday night, but even that was not enough to get the three points that seem to be eluding them every week.
Houston led at halftime but fell victim to yet another goal by United States National Team veteran Chris Wondolowski and settled for a 1-1 draw with the visiting San Jose Earthquakes at BBVA Compass Stadium.
The result means the Dynamo (4-9-8) have won only once in their last 10 MLS games.
The tying goal came in the 59th minute. Wondolowski snuck inside of Dynamo defender Sheanon Williams and from short range easily jumped and kicked in Cordell Cato's crossing pass.
