Dynamo sign Argentine attacking midfielder Tomas Martinez

The Dynamo have begun the summer transfer window in powerful fashion.

Houston has signed 22-year old Argentinian attacking midfielder Tomás Martínez as a Young Designated Player. The acquisition is a full transfer from Portuguese first division club S.C. Braga.

Martínez joins forwards Erick Torres and Alberth Elis as Dynamo Designated Players. The club does not have any more open DP spots.

The Dynamo's next game is Wednesday at Minnesota United FC, but Martínez is not likely to play.

Braga purchased Martínez from Argentinian club River Plate on July 1, 2016.
