The Houston Dynamo selected SMU goalkeeper and Katy native Michael Nelson with the 20th overall pick at the 2018 MLS SuperDraft presented by adidas. The Seven Lakes High School graduate was a three-time American Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Year during his college career.
