The biggest rise from the ashes story in MLS continued Friday night with yet another home victory for the Dynamo.
Houston scored one goal in each half to defeat Vancouver Whitecaps FC, 2-1, at BBVA Compass Stadium. With most of the league still to play this weekend, the Dynamo move to the top of the Western Conference table by a point.
That's the same table in which the Dynamo (6-3-1) finished on the bottom of last season. They are 6-0-1 at home and already have surpassed their home win total from all of 2016. They also are one victory away from matching last year's overall win total.
