Dynamo, Rapids split points in Saturday night snoozer

The Houston Dynamo played the Colorado Rapids to a 0-0 draw on Saturday night. It was an uneventful game in which neither side could get the edge. The Dynamo put out a defense heavy lineup to start the game that had many wondering if were bunkering as they looked head to their US Open Cup game on Wednesday. The Rapids started newly signed Giles Barnes but Barnes left the game early in the second half due to injury.

The first half was a quiet one for both sides. The Rapids had the edge in possession and had 4 shots while the Dynamo had three shots.
