The Houston Dynamo’s match at FC Dallas originally scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 24 has been moved to Sunday, Aug. 25, Major League Soccer and the clubs announced today. The change was made in order to accommodate a national television broadcast on FS1 as part of the league’s Heineken Rivalry Week coverage.
That match will now be Houston’s fifth nationally-televised contest this season and will be the second Texas Derby match this year to be shown nationally. Kickoff for the match is set for 7 p.m. CDT.
The Dynamo defeated FC Dallas 2-1 in the first leg of the Texas Derby on Saturday afternoon thanks to a pair of goals from forward Mauro Manotas.
