Houston Dynamo forward Erick Torres has been added to the Mexican National Team roster for this month’s CONCACAF Gold Cup, the Mexican Football Federation (FMF) announced today. Torres was added to the Mexican National Team following forward Alan Pulido’s injury on Saturday in a friendly match against Paraguay.
Torres will join El Tri following Houston’s game against the Montreal Impact on Wednesday night at BBVA Compass Stadium at 7:30p.m. CDT (TICKETS).
Mexico will open their participation in the Gold Cup against El Salvador on Sunday, July 9 at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, California.
