A 68th-minute Carlos Salcedo goal sealed the game and the series for Tigres UANL over the Houston Dynamo in the quarterfinals of the CONCACAF Champions League on Tuesday. Tigres won 1-0, advancing 3-0 on aggregate.
After falling behind 2-0 late in the first leg in Houston last week, the Dynamo faced an uphill climb in the second leg in Monterrey, Mexico.
