David Rocha played in Spain for more than a decade without ever getting a shot at one of the top teams. The first-year Dynamo player finally got his chance on Tuesday night and made it count.
Rocha scored the first goal in regulation to get the eighth annual Dynamo Charities Cup up and running. Later he added a goal in the penalty kick shootout.
The Dynamo and Real Sociedad tied, 3-3, with the Dynamo winning the Cup on penalty kicks, 5-4, in front of 13,675 fans at BBVA Compass Stadium.
Real Sociedad is a regular in La Liga - Spain's top division.
