Wilmer Cabrera's reputation as a lineup tinkerer began last year as he shuttled forwards, midifielders and even goalkeepers in and out of the starting XI from week to week.
Early in his second season as Dynamo boss, Cabrera is doing it with his defenders, too.
Though Keven Garcia was fit enough to start at right back for a second consecutive week, Cabrera chose regular center back Adolfo Machado to start in his place.
Machado playing right back was not shocking. Though he started 33 of 34 regular season games at center back for the Dynamo last year, he regularly plays there for the World Cup-bound Panama national team.
