Twelve Dynamo players will be protected from being selected in Tuesday's MLS expansion draft for 2018 newcomer Los Angeles Football Club.
Those 12 players include attacking midfielder Memo Rodriguez, who was automatically protected due to his Homegrown status, and 11 players the Dynamo listed along with every other MLS team.
The 11 players on that list are: Goalkeeeper Joe Willis; defenders Adolfo Machado, Leonardo, Dylan Remick; midfielders Juan David Cabezas, Rodriguez, Tomas Martinez and forwards Erick Torres, Andrew Wenger, Romell Quioto, Alberth Elis, Mauro Manotas.
That leaves the following Dynamo players available for LAFC in Tuesday's expansion draft: Eric Alexander (free agent), Arturo Alvarez, Jalil Anibaba, DaMarcus Beasley (free agent), Calle Brown, Ricardo Clark (free agent), A.
