The Dynamo's first big off-season signing is a familiar face to those who watched the club's recent resurgence.
The club has acquired defensive midfielder Juan David Cabezas on a permanent transfer after he spent the 2017 season on loan from Colombian club Deportivo Cali.
Cabezas, 26, played in two of the first six games but became a regular in the starting XI after that. He finished with 26 starts among 27 appearances. He played every minute in five postseason games.
One of the team's most impactful players, Cabezas' 4.11 tackles per 90 minutes were the most among all league players with at least 1,800 minutes.
