Rachel Daly's debut with the Dash was so good the entire league is taking notice.
Daly on Tuesday was named NWSL Player of the Week for her performance in Saturday's season opener against the Chicago Red Stars.
The 24-year old rookie scored the tying goal and assisted on the winner as the Dash won, 3-1, at BBVA Compass Stadium.
The goal she scored in the 22nd minute was world class. Carli Lloyd played a long rolling pass into the attacking third that defender Samantha Johnson slid to stop. Johnson slowed it down, but it trickled toward the goal and to Daly's feet outside the box.
