Carli Lloyd is on top of the women's soccer world for the second year in a row.
The USWNT captain and Dash midfielder on Monday won the Best FIFA Women's Player Award for 2016 for the second year in a row.
Lloyd beat out finalists Melanie Behringer of Germany, who led her country to gold medal at the Rio Olympics, and five-time winner Marta of Brazil.
Lloyd scored 17 goals and had 11 assists in 21 appearances with the USWNT. In seven games with the Dash she scored five goals and had three assists.
She missed much of the NWSL season after suffering a knee injury in the second game.
